Whether guiding parents through newborn care or providing the soothing benefits of infant massage, we strive to create calm, connection, and trust in every interaction.
2.5 hour Class
Learn what to expect and how to look after your newborn with confidence. This Masterclass is delivered by expert neonatal nurses who are devoted to teaching and empowering parents in their journey through the early weeks. This class is both informative and practical with opportunities for hands on practice and a bespoke question and answer session. Demonstrations include bathing, swaddling, nappy changes, infant massage principles, cord care, settling techniques, home safety and much more.
My career in Paediatric and Neonatal Nursing spans over 26 years, in which time I have worked in many clinical areas including Paediatric Intensive Care, Paediatric Oncology, General Paediatrics and Neonatal Intensive Care. My Nursing expereience has been gained here in Australia and the UK. I currently work as a Clinical Nurse Educator in a Level 4 Special Care Nursery in a Brisbane based Hospital where I enjoy teaching staff and new parents. I am a mother of 2 and am dedicated to teaching and empowering new parents in the principles surrounding newborn care.
I am a dedicated mother of 3 boys aged between 18-25 years old. My nursing career began in the UK 26 years ago when I qualified as a Paediatric Nurse. I worked in a Children's University Teaching Hospital in the UK for 15 years before emigrating to Australia in 2014. I currently work as a Clinical Nurse in a Level 4 Special Care Nursery and bring a wealth of experience to the team, where I strive to offer excellence in my provision of teaching knowledge and skills to families. I am an advocate for the provision of expert instruction to prospective parents and new parents.

You do not need to bring any items along with you for the class, however if you are bringing your newborn along to the class then you will need to bring along essental items for your baby. Dolls and equipment will be provided for your use during the sessions if you are attending in the ante-natal period.
Unfortunately we do not have the capacity to accommodate any children other than your newborn due to room size and venue regulations.
We understand that due to unforeseen circumstances you may need to cancel your booking. For cancellations we require a minimum of 48 hours notice and will wherever possible offer you an alternative class.
